Preparedness starts locally, whether it is for a flu pandemic or power outage. We all are responsible to prepare to protect and help our families and our neighbors. Our club is planning on extending its service activities beyond its present local and international programs to help better prepare our local community. In times of emergency, we do not have the luxury of being too dependent on the wonderful public services in Montgomery county. Everyone may need help and we are responsible to see that we do become a bigger part of the problem then necessary.
